KRISTĪNE ZADOVSKA graduated from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, class of Prof. Ludmila Brauna (1993 - BA, 1995 - MA). She has participated in Masterclasses with Prof.A.Reinhold at the Bach Academy and with the conductor Helmuth Rilling in Stuttgart, Germany (1992), Prof.Irina Arkhipova in Moscow (1993), Prof.Katia Angeloni in Montefiascone, Italy (1994), Prof.Irina Gavrilovici in Vienna, Austria (1997), and Irena Milkevičiute in Vilnius, Lithuania (2002).
Kristīne Zadovska is a laureate of Jāzeps Vītols International Singing Competition (1994) and of Prof.Pauls Sakss Distinction Award presented by fraternity Talavija (1997). Kristīne Zadovska was awarded the Latvian Theatre Award as the Best Singer of the Year (2001, for the role of Carmen).
She is a soloist at the Latvian National Opera since 1994. Kristīne Zadovska has performed in Finland, Holland, England, Taiwan, France, Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Russia, USA, Canada, Estonia, and Lithuania.
Her roles include Bizet ‘s Carmen, Tchaikovsky's Olga in Eugene Onegin and Pauline in The Queen of Spades, Alice in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Suzuki in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Angel in Rubinstein's The Demon, Sonyetka in Shostakovich's Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Orlovsky in J.Strauss' Die Fledermauß, Herodias in R.Strauss' Salome, Verdi's Amneris in Aida, Fenena in Nabucco, Maddalena in Rigoletto, and Flora Bervoix in La Traviata.
