RINGOLDS ŽIGIS graduated from the Riga Choreography High School in 1995 (class of Valentīns Bļinovs). He joined the LNO Ballet in 1994.
He was the participant of the Bartolin International Ballet Seminar. He has toured to Western European countries, China and Israel with the LNO Ballet company.
Ringolds Žigis was nominated for the Latvian Theatre Award for role of Tybalth in Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet (1999), for work in the performance Aplam (2010), as well as for roles in performances Othello, Anna Karenina and The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (2014).
