KĀRLIS CĪRULIS graduated from the Riga Choreography School in 2016 and joined the Latvian National Ballet the same year.
His repertoire includes Pierre Gringoire and Actéon in La Esmeralda, Colas in La Fille mal gardée, Basilio in Don Quixote, and Jonathan Harker in Dracula, the title role in The Nutcracker, the Slave in Le Corsaire, Prince Désiré and the Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, and Rothbart and the pas de deux in Swan Lake. In 2016, Kārlis Cīrulis won 1st place at the International Baltic Ballet Competition and 2nd place at the Korea International Ballet Competition. In 2017, he was awarded the Bronze Medal at the Moscow International Ballet Competition.
He received the Latvian Dance Award in 2019 in the category of Best Classical Dance Performer.
