JOLANTA LUBEJA was born in Latvia. She graduated from the Riga Choreography School in 2009 (class of Ludmila Vikanova) and joined the Latvian National Ballet the same year.
Her awards include a Gold Medal at the Korea International Ballet Competition (2016), Bronze Medals at the International Baltic Ballet Competition (2013 & 2016), a Bronze Medal at the Stora Daldansen International Competition (2008), and the Māris Liepa Foundation Scholarship (2006, 2007, 2008). She also participated in the Varna International Ballet Competition (2012).
Jolanta Lubeja was nominated for the Latvian Theatre Award “Spēlmaņu nakts” in 2016 and the Latvian Dance Award in 2019 and 2024. In 2024, she was awarded the Helēna Tangijeva-Birzniece Prize.
In September 2023, she completed an advanced artistic training programme at the Paris Opera Ballet under the guidance of Gilbert Mayer. In 2025, she was awarded the Dance Award in the category "Ballet Dancer".
She has performed in Italy, Spain, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Sweden, Ukraine, Belarus, China, Israel, and South Korea.
