Ukrainian tenor VALENTYN DYTIUK graduated Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy in Kiev (class of professor Gennady Kabka) in 2014 and then took classes with professor Marina Shaguch, musical coach Massimiliano Bullo and stage director Raimundas Banionis. From 2014 until 2022 was principal artist at the Ukraine National Opera.
Future engagements of Valentyn Dytiuk include debut as Don Carlo at Deutsche Oper Berlin. And in March 2025 he will sing the roll of Arrigo in I Vespri siciliani at the same opera house. More of Valentyn Dytiuk future appearances include among others returns to Israeli Opera Tel Aviv (Rodolfo in La boheme), Orquestra Synfonica Sao Paolo (Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Stravinsky’s Pulcinella), National Theater in Prague (Rodolfo in La Boheme), Estonian National Opera (Faust in Damnation of Faust), Teatro Verdi in Salerno (Alfredo in La Traviata). Year 2026 will bring his debut on the stage of the Coventgarden opera in London.
In June 2024 made debut at Berliner Philharmoniker where he sings four roles (Porcus, une voix, Héraut 1, Le clerc) in oratorio Jeanne d’Arc au bûcher by Arthur Honneger under the baton of Alan Gilbert, returned to National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin (Verdi Requiem), appeared at Orquestra Synfonica Sao Paolo (Faust in Damnation of Faust), Deutsche Oper Berlin (debut as Florestan in Fidelio), Israeli Opera Tel Aviv (Pincerton in Madama Butterfly and Young Gypsy in Aleko), National Theater Prague (Pincerton in Madama Butterfly).
Dytiuk’s repertory includes also such roles as Duca in Rigoletto, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, title role in Romeo and Juliet, Vaudemont in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, Gustav III in Un ballo in Maschera, Ismael in Nabucco, Mozart in Mozart and Salieri, title role in Faust, among others. Singer has performed at the National Opera in Tallinn, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Opera Dijon, Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, Opera de Lyon, Klaipeda Music Theatre, and others.
