Soloists of the Latvian National Opera – sopranos Inna Kločko and Annija Kristiāna Ādamsone, tenor Mārtiņš Šmaukstelis and bass-baritone Rihards Mačanovskis – together with pianist Ilze Ozoliņa once again invite audiences to enjoy Latvian vocal chamber music, revealing its rich variety of colours and the changing spirit of different eras.

The programme includes Jānis Mediņš’s cycle Pasakas par mīlu (Tales of Love, 1943), with texts by Elza Ķezbere; Oļģerts Grāvītis’s cycle Mēness meitiņa (Moon Maiden, 1954), with texts by Rainis; songs by Leonīds Vīgners; as well as a new work – a vocal cycle for baritone and piano by Anna Veismane.

The concert will be hosted by Liene Jakovļeva.
