The croatian mezzo-soprano JELENA KORDIĆ studied with Ruža Pospiš Baldani at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb in Croatia and continues her studies privately with Deborah Polaski and Sherman Lowe. Since the season 2018/2019 she is a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, where she works as Olga (Eugene Onegin), Charlotte (Werther) Adalgisa (Norma), Fenena (Nabucco), Hansel (Hansel und Gretel), Smeraldine (The Love for Three Oranges), Octavian (Der Rosenkavalier), Agnese (Beatrice Di Tenda) and as Carmen (Carmen). Guest engagements led the artist to the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, HNK Zagreb, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Semperoper in Dresden. From 2015-2017 Jelena Kordić was a member of the Young Ensemble of the Semperoper Dresden, 2017-2018 ensemble member of the Staatstheater Braunschweig. Her repertoire includes also parts such as: Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Sesto (La dlemenza di Tito), Lola (Cavalleria rusticana), Fenena (Nabucco), Meg Page (Falstaff) and Adalgisa (Norma).
