Inga Šļubovska-Kancēviča and Agnese Egliņa have collaborated for over 10 years; their newest programme was created to be like an ode to Latvian chamber music: unique, intimate, always new. The programme centres around the contemporary classics – Pēteris Vasks, Arturs Maskats, Ingmars Zemzaris, whose solo pieces nuances, meditative poetry and lyrics mix with the playful and carefree. Many of the pieces were written specifically for Šļubovska-Kancēviča – as a thank-you for her sincerity and empathy when performing chamber music in the Latvian language.
