Soprano Tatiana Trenogina was born in Simpheropol, Crimea and graduated with honours from the Tchaikovsky music college in Crimea. In 1999 she entered the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow in the class of Galina Pisarenko-National Artist of Russia and graduated in 2006 with honours. From 2006-2008 she studied at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music in Brussels under the direction of José van Dam.
Tatiana has participated in many master-classes with renowned artists including Teresa Berganza, Gabriela Tucci, Franco Pagliazzi, Helmut Deutsch and Makvala Kasrashvili. She is a laureate of several international competitions including the Russian Chamber-Vocal Duos Competition in St. Petersburg 2004, International Boris Gmyria Competition in Kiev 2004, St. Petersburg Opera Competition 2005, Vincenzo Bellini International Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy 2005, The Maria Callas Grand Prix in Athens and Riccardo Zandonai Competition in Italy 2007, the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels 2008, Renata Tebaldi Competition San Marino 2009, Galina Vishnevskaya Competition Moscow and the Julian Gayarre Competition in Pamplona 2010, Clermond-Ferrand and Elena Obraztsova Competition in 2011 and a Laureate of the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyrique du Theatre Lyrichorégra 20 in Montréal 2014.
Concentrating in opera and chamber music, from 2003-2006 Tatiana performed with Moscow theatres in the roles of Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Mimi, Musetta (La Boheme), and Parasha (Mavra by Stravinsky) and in 2011 she made her debut with the renowned Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow in the title role in Iolanta. Tatiana made her debut with the Royal Opera House La Monnaie in 2006 in the role of Xenia in Boris Godunov and has since participated in various productions there including the Fiery Angel by Prokofiev conducted by Kazushi Ono in 2007 and Cendrillon by Massenet in 2008. In 2012 she sang Donna Anna from Don Giovanni in Clermont-Ferrand.
An avid recitalist, Tatiana has performed numerous concerts around the world including the Royal Opera House La Monnaie in Brussels, Grand Théatre Luxembourg, Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Theatre San Marino, Musical Festival in Menton France, a tour of China with the Moscow Orchestra, April’s Spring art festival in North Korea-where she was awarded a gold medal and several concerts during the S. Richter festival.
