VIESTURS JANSONS graduated from the Latvian Academy of Music (class of Prof.Anita Garanča). Since 1998, he is soloist at the Latvian National Opera. He regularly takes part in performing large scale pieces.
Prize winner of the 3rd International Vocal Competition (2004).He also appears in guest performances in Finland, Germany, Sweden, Poland, France, and Belgium.
