Tenor EDOARDO MILLETTI, born in Assisi in 1987, started and studied mainly with the mezzo- soprano Carmen Gonzales and also at the Conservatory “F. Morlacchi” in Perugia. He has perfected with Renato Bruson, Luciana d'Intino, Luciana Serra, Luigi Alva, Lella Cuberli, Francisco Araiza. Since 2007 he has debuted many sacred works, such as Handel's Messiah at the Basilica of San Pietro in Perugia, the Misa Criolla of Ramirez in Rotterdam, Cristianacht of Wolf and the Petite Messe Solemnelle of Rossini in the Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva in Rome, La Resurrezione of Handel at the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, Cathedral of Rome and Stabat Mater by Rossini in Wien at the Auditorium of Wiener Sängerknaben. He has won numerous awards in competitions such as the Opera Studio of La Scuola dell’Opera Italiana of Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Prize Mongini of Varese, the lyrical contest of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale of Spoleto and Ottavio Ziino’s Prize in Rome. He made his debut in theater with the show Carnet de Notes, by and with the actress Franca Valeri and comic operas of Offenbach Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui and Pomme d'Api at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna. He has sung the role of Macacco in La Favola dei Tre Gobbi of Ciampi, he interpreted Nick in La Fanciulla del West by Puccini, Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata, Ernesto in Donizetti's Don Pasquale, Ein Sklave in Strauss’s Salome, Orpheus in Euridice Orfeo of Scappucci (contemporary opera), Child in Doglie of Sannicandro (contemporary opera), Porsugnacco in Grillera e Porsugnacco of Orlandini, Spoletta in Puccini's Tosca, La Coscienza in il Giocatore of Carrara (contemporary opera), Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi by Puccini, Normanno in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor in theatres such as Teatro alla Scala, Festival dei Due Mondi of Spoleto. He worked with conductors like Nicola Luisotti, Carlo Palleschi, Roberto Pollastri, Marco Angius, Stefano Ranzani and directors like Gabriele Lavia, Paolo Rossi and Mary Zimmermann. In 2013 he won the competition for the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and during 2014 made his debut at La Scala in La Cenerentola of Rossini. In 2015, graduated from the Academy of La Scala, he made his debut at La Scala’s in il Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini in the role of Il Conte d’Almaviva, directed by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle and conducted by Massimo Zanetti. He also made his debut in Rossini's La Cenerentola at the Paphos Aphrodite Festival Cyprus. Among his latest engagements are G. Donizetti's L'Olivo e Pasquale at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo, conducted by M°Sardelli and G. Rossini's L'Armida at the Montpellier Opera House in France in the roles of Gernando and Ubaldo, conducted by Maestro Gamba and Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the National Theater of Hong Kong (China), a production signed by director Lorenzo Mariani of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, with the direction of Maestro Gianola. Edoardo made his debut in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Petruzzelli Theater in Bari, Verdi's Messa da Requiem under the baton of M. Oleg Caetani, and again came back to Montpellier with Donizetti's Don Pasquale under the direction of M. Michele Spotti. During the 2019/2020 season he was Elvino in Bellini's Sonnambula in the Opera Lombardia Lyric Circuit and in Lucrezia Borgia at the Donizetti Festival and at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia. In February 2022 he performed in the semi-scenic concert Le Tre Regine at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, alongside Sondra Radvanovsky with the direction of M°Frizza. In October 2022 he is Ernesto in Don Pasquale at the Zandonai Theater in Rovereto and in Nov/Dec 2022 he is Don Gaspar in G. Donizetti’s Favorite at the Donizetti’s Festival in Bergamo.
