The outstanding Keri-Lynn Wilson will conduct “The Queen of Spades” and “Tosca” in February
The outstanding Canadian conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson will return to the stage of the Latvian National Opera in February. She will conduct the opera The Queen of Spades by Pyotr Tchaikovsky on February 4 and opera Tosca by Giacomo Puccini on February 6.
Kerr-Lynn Wilson visited the Latvian National Opera for the first time in January 2020, conducting a performance of Giacomo Puccini's opera La Bohème.
Maestro Keri-Lynn Wilson's international career as a guest conductor spans over twenty years, leading some of the world’s most prestigious orchestras - such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks - and operas at the world’s top opera houses, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Wiener Staatsoper. Ms. Wilson’s work has been praised as “vividly shaped and nuanced” by The New York Times, and “elegantly incisive” by The Telegraph. Ms. Wilson received a nomination for conductor of the year from the Opus Klassik 2020 awards for her recording of Rossini’s Sigismondo with the Bayerische Rundfunk.
