Auditions for the vacant positions at the Latvian National Orchestra
The Latvian National Opera and Ballet is announcing auditions for three vacancies at the Latvian National Orchestra:
- 3rd Concertmaster, First Violins
- Double bass group concertmaster
- Principal timpanist

3rd Concertmaster, First Violins (full time) position
Audition
Audition will be held in three stages:
-- Video audition (deadline 17.04.2026.). Applications received after 17.04.2026. will not be considered
-- Stage I and II live audition on 2 June, 2026 from 12.00 PM at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet (Aspazijas bulv. 3, Riga, Latvia).

-- P.Tchaikovsky. Ballet Swan Lake excerpt from Pas de deux (Act I, No. 5)

Requirements for applicants:
-- Higher education in music in the relevant specialization
-- Experience working in a professional orchestra
